Position:Purchasing Estimator
Job Description:

In order to meet the demands of continuing growth in Phoenix, the purchasing team intends to hire a purchasing estimator.  This position is located in Phoenix at the corporate office. 

Responsibilities include the following: 

-  Coordination and analysis of vendor bids

-  Development of plan take-offs

-  Development and maintenance of JDE data bases

-  Interact directly with builders, internal sales personnel and suppliers

-  Assist with special projects as needed by the Estimating Team


Job requirments include the following: 

-  College graduate or comparable professional experience

-  Strong organization and communication skills

-  Ability to process multiple activities simultaneously

-  Ability to initiate and drive required activities

-  Solid mathematical and analytical skills

-  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

-  Experience with J.D. Edwards data base systems or comparable software

-  Prior experience as a Purchasing Estimator is preferred
